If you’re interested in being part of this ministry, contact Carol Tiemeyer (caroltiemeyer@yahoo.com).

Paper Gator - Our Paper Gator dumpster is located in the parking lot next to the playground on Hurley Street and is available to anyone. Use of the Paper gator helps in recycling paper products such as newspapers, scrap paper, junk mail, phone books and much more. Proceeds from the Paper gator benefit Operation Santa Claus and Boy Scout Troop 334.

Days for Girls - Days for Girls increases access to menstrual care and education by developing global partnerships, cultivating social enterprises, mobilizing volunteers and innovating sustainable solutions that shatter stigmas and limitations for women and girls. At CCC we are working with the local Rockford South team to construct Days for Girls kits. There are ongoing opportunities to join a workshop and/or participate at home in the many sewing and non-sewing tasks required to complete a kit.

Look for future dates on the church calendar, or contact Diane Phelps at dianephelps2010@gmail.com if you have any interest in this work. Further information is available on this International organization @ https://www.daysforgirls.org
