The Pine Rest Card Ministry provides adults in the foster care system with cards and/or letters for Holidays and Birthdays. After Pine Rest chaplain and CCC member Kathy Bird-DeYoung shared the hopeful anticipation she’d witnessed during residents’ weekly trips to the mail room, this ministry was developed by our Social Action and Mission Outreach (SAMO) Team to bring cheer to the residents at Westwood Home at Pine Rest.
