Burmese Refugee Family

You've heard about, and been getting excited about our church getting involved with PARA and sponsoring a refugee family. 

Our Family has arrived.  They are a Christian family of 3 who have been refugees for 5 years!!!  The father, Thang Tin Lian is 33 and comes with his wife, Dawt Tha who is 26, and their child, Thang Cin Lian, who is 5!  They are among the less than 5% of Christians in Burma, and come to us with secondary educations, as farmers/general labor workers, and speaking no English.  This is our opportunity to be able to tangibly transform the lives of this family. 

We've provided them with a furnished apartment. So, what happens next?  Our church provides support to them to get them acclimated in the United States.  If you would like to help, click here for a volunteer form.  These forms may be turned into the office or given to Stephenie Young.
