Child Care Programs

For enrollment or employment information for any of the Child Care programs, contact Jane Klein at 942-8795.  Especially for infant or toddler care, as soon as you know that you need child care, contact Jane Klein to find out what the availability for that care would be.

• Infant Day Care Center and Toddler Day Care Center:  Program Director - Alice Comrie (949-9471).  Both centers are located on the lower level of Centennial Hall (corner of Orange and Hurley).  The hours are Monday thru Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.  The Infant Day care Center provides care for infants ages 6 weeks to 1 year.  The Toddler Care Center provides care for toddlers ages 1 year to 3 years.

• Preschool/Day Care Center:  Program Director - Jane Klein (942-8795).  This center is located at 2805 Thornapple River Dr. (yellow house) and is open from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday thru Friday.  This program is for children from 3 to 6 years of age (children must be potty-trained to attend).  Preschool education is a regular part of our daily routine each morning. 

• Before and After School Program:  Director - Margaret LePard (949-9953).  This program runs Monday - Friday 7:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 - 6:00 p.m.  They are also open when Forest Hills Schools get out at noon, are delayed by the weather, or are closed all day for Inservice Days.  These children, 6 years and older, first thru sixth grade, meet in classrooms upstairs in Centennial Hall.  They also offer all day care during the summer called Summer Day Camp.
